Aston Martin has released ist first set of official images of the Vanquish Volante. The soft-top super car is the first convertible from Aston Martin that is entirely made up of carbon fiber body panels. The triple-down layer top can be lowered in 14 seconds at speed of up to 50kmph. making the Volante the most power convertible ever built by the company.
The Volante is powered by a 5.9-litre V12 engine that churns out 565bhp of massive power and 619Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed paddle shift gearbox and the car can do 0-100kmph in 4.1 sec which is 0.2 seconds quicker than the DBS Volante. The supercar can easily attain of top-speed of 295kmph.
The car has been shod with Pirelli tyres and 20-inch alloy wheels. It also gets aa three-stage adaptive damping system and Positive Torque Control (PTC) for maximum road holding and point-to-point agility. On the inside, the cabin is exactly the same like the hard-top version but has now been fitted with touch-sensing haptic buttons.
It is likely that Aston Martin might bring the car to upcoming Good Festival of Speed in July as a part of its Diamond jubilee celebrations.
