The first ever Bugatti Veyron to be produced will go under the hammer very soon. Yes, that is right, out of the 450 models of this hypercar, produced from late 2005 to the middle of this year, this is Numero Uno.
It will be auctioned by RM Sothebys at a function Monterey California on August 13.
The asking price is believed to be in the range of USD 1.8 million to USD 2.4 million but this is obviously expected to be far higher given the pedigree of this hypercar. Reports state that this car is practically brand new as it has only done 1,287km and recently got a full service as well as a change of tyres done by Bugatti of Beverly Hills.
The car has been painted in a two-tone shade of red and black. It gets a beige interior and sports seats as a part of the deal.
Just to recap, the Veyron’s party piece is an 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 engine that produces 1001bhp. Power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed DSG and an AWD system.
