To celebrate 10 years of the Arnage, 50 years of its mighty V8 engine and 90 years of the marque, Bentley Motors will launch a limited edition run of the model at the Paris Motor Show next week.
Called the ‘Bentley Arnage Final Series’, the new model will be handcrafted at Bentley’s Crewe facility. Exterior design styling changes include a retractable Flying B bonnet mascot, a ‘Final Series’ badge on the front wings and 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels. The interior gets a ‘Final Series’ stainless steel flask and shot glasses, and the ear-shattering 1100W NAIM sound system (the most powerful in a car yet) is also available as an option. What stays is the twin-turbo V8 with 500bhp and 1000Nm, which will now be available only in the Azure and Brooklands.
The Bentley Arnage Final Series will be a limited-edition run of 150 cars, after which production of the Arnage will cease. It will probably be replaced by something higher up the price ladder – this means the replacement will go head-to-head with the RR Phantom.
