Fiat will launch the Linea T-jet for the Indian market at an even in Mumbai tomorrow. The car was previously sold in the Indian market but was discontinued in 2012 due to low demand. However, Fiat previewed the car in April and eventually returned it to its line up by listing it on its official website again.
The car will sit on the top of the Linea range and is powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine which produces 114bhp and 200Nm of torque making it one of the most powerful and sporty vehicles in the C-Segment in India.
The Linea T-Jet gets disc brakes on all four wheels, ABS with EBD, automatic door lock, central door locking, double crank prevention system, driver seat belt warning light, dual stage front airbags with early crash sensors, fire prevention system and immobiliser.
We will bring you all the details from the launch as soon as they emerge, so stay tuned to CarWale.
