Fiat India has rejigged the variant lineup of its Linea sedan. There are now five variants instead of seven as the automaker has dropped two petrol models. It now offers a touchscreen infotainment system as standard across all variants of the car.
Firstly, the petrol variants are now only the Active and Emotion. Both are powered by the 1.4-litre T-Jet motor but the Active variant is in the 88bhp state of tune while the Emotion is the 125S version which, as the name suggests, has its 1.4-litre engine producing 123bhp. The diesels on the other hand get the 1.3-litre Multijet motor that produces 90bhp and 209Nm of torque.
The touchscreen system is now standard across all three variants. It gets navigation, Bluetooth connectivity as well as USB and AUX input. However, steering mounted controls are only offered with the Dynamic and Emotion variants.
