A Fiat Linea with Abarth badging has been spied at their factory in Ranjangaon and may debut at the 2016 Auto Expo. This car is expected to follow the same formula as the Avventura powered by Abarth and could be the top-spec variant for the Italian automaker.
This Abarth-spec Linea will get the same 1.4-litre T-JET petrol engine but now in the 145bhp/212Nm state of tune. The gearbox will be a five-speed manual as is the case with the other two ‘Powered by Abarth Models’. It is also expected to get the famous Scorpio wheels and probably some adjustments to the suspension.
We believe that it will be priced around Rs 1 lakh over the current top-spec Emotion T-JET petrol model.
