Fiat has unveiled a new and more powerful version of the Linea sedan called the 125S. It is now the flagship of the Linea range and comes only with petrol power.
The 125S means 125bhp that the 1.4-litre T-JET mill produces. This is 13bhp more than the stock output. The torque is 210Nm while power is transmitted through a five-speed manual.
Externally, the 125S gets a bright blue paint job, black wheels and noticeably high ground clearance.
The cabin is stock Linea but includes a new touchscreen system in addition to all the features of the top-spec Emotion variant.
Some of the other features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, auto headlamps, cruise control, ambient lighting and leather seats.
The car is expected to be launched as a single variant in the second half of this year and is likely to be priced over Rs 10 lakh.
This will be latest addition to Fiat’s range of ‘hot’ vehicles which includes cars like the Abarth Punto, Avventura powered by Abarth and the 595 Competizione.
