Fiat India recently inaugurated an exclusive dealership and workshop in Noida. The 4,000sqft facility located in sector 18 of Noida Phase-II will be run by Kashyap Fiat. The showroom is a part of the Italian automaker’s plans to go solo in the Indian market. It aims to open 100 exclusive dealerships by the end of the year and is aiming to get around 70 of them functional by March.
Speaking on the occasion, Enrico Atanasio, MD of Fiat India said “FIAT India views Noida as a very strategic market and the inauguration of an exclusive dealership is in accordance with our strategy to capitalise on this potential. We are confident that our association with the Kashyap Group will play a crucial role in identifying the customer base and enhancing customer experience in Noida.”
In addition to the aggressive expansion plans, Fiat will also launch the facelifted Punto and Linea and according to some reports a locally assembled Abarth Punto. It will also launch the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Wrangler in the third quarter of 2013.
