Fiat India has inaugurated its first exclusive work shop in India, at Dapodi in Pune. The facility has been outfitted with equipment and latest technology likes remote sensing diagnosis and a state of art crash repair system used by FIAT globally.The workshop will also provide service like general repairs, body repairs, servicing, paint jobs and car washing.
Last year, Fiat and Tata decided to end their JV for distribution and after-sales service, following which Fiat has set up two Cafés and an independent showroom. Now this is the first Fiat only workshop in the country, as the Italian car maker plans to operate independently India.
At the time of the inauguration Ravi Bhatia, head of business development, said “this first exclusive and world-class FIAT workshop is our attempt to provide each of our customers with an unmatched servicing experience leading to a delightful vehicle ownership experience.”
