Instead of joining the bandwagon of manufacturers hiking the price of their vehicle come new year, Fiat India has taken a different approach for 2017. FCA has slashed the prices of Linea and Punto Evo across all variants by up to 7.3 per cent and 7 per cent respectively.
The Linea after the price adjustment is now affordable by Rs 30,000 to up to Rs 77,000. Of the two petrol variants in the Linea, the Active 1.4 is now cheaper by Rs 63,000 and the Emotion T-Jet is affordable by Rs 57,000. The diesel, on the other hand, gets Rs 30,000 slashed on the Active Multijet variant and Rs 55,000 on the Emotion T-Jet, whereas the top-of-the-line Emotion Multijet gets a price cut of Rs 77,000. The prices for the Linea now ranges between Rs 7.25 – 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
The same goes for the Punto Evo which gets a price cut ranging between Rs 41,000 - 47,000. The prices for Dynamic petrol variant and Active Multijet has been reduced by Rs 41,000 whereas the Emotion Multijet is cheaper by Rs 43,000. The Dynamic Multijet variants are now cheaper by Rs 47,000. The Punto Evo can now be had at a price between Rs 5.45 and 7.55 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
