Italian automaker Fiat continues to showcase multiple personalities of its popular 500-based line up of cars. This time around, the brand has come up with two new special edition models that will debut this month at the 2014 Miami Auto Show.
Called the 500 Ribelle and the 500L Urbana Trekking, both these models are based on the standard 500 Pop and the 500L Trekking. At the upcoming auto show, Fiat will also display its full lineup to highlight updates for the 2015 model year, including an advanced instrument panel with a 7-inch display for the 500 range. Additionally, automatic gearbox options for the high-performance 500 Abarth and the five-seat 500L will also be introduced.
While the design of the 500 Ribelle is highlighted with red roof, spoiler and mirror caps, the bigger 500L Urbana Trekking makes its presence felt with the matte nero exterior mirrors and bezels on the front and rear fascia, side sills and body-side molding.
Fiat has revealed that the 500 Ribelle will go on sale globally starting December this year. The 500L Urbana Trekking, on the other hand, will hit the showrooms early next year. Neither of these models will be allocated for the Indian market. Fiat enthusiasts, though, needn’t fret because the brand is currently working on introducing the high-performance 500 Abarth to India. The car has already been spotted at select Fiat dealerships and is due for launch soon.
