The Fiat 500 has become a global icon and has a cult-like following in the UK. This has also become the second biggest market for the vehicle in Europe. As a part of its European tour, the 500 Collezione has reached London after its debut in Milan. Let's take a look at how the car is travelling across the most important fashion, art and style capitals in Europe through this picture gallery.
The carmaker has unveiled this special edition ‘Collezione’ 500 in London especially to mark 10 years of special editions of the 500 city car models.
It is also the 30th special edition of the new 500, which first went on sale in 2007. Interestingly, there were no special editions of the 500 until 2008.
This celebration tour began in Milan before taking a halt at London’s trendy Covent Garden yesterday. It will continue towards Berlin, then to Paris and eventually to Madrid.
London is one of the cities outside Italy with the most 500s in the world. Nearly 60,000 Fiat 500s were sold across Europe in the first quarter of 2018 making it the best ever till date.
The edition in pictures here is the Collezione, which was unveiled originally at the Geneva Motor Show in March. It is offered in hatchback and convertible (500C) forms with identical prices.
