Ferrari is working on a high performance version for the 488…which should come as no surprise when you consider they make cars like the La Ferrari FXX –K (A high performance version of a high performance car).
The high performance model has been listed with the California Air Resources Board as the ‘488 Special Series Coupe’ but is likely to get a valiant sounding Italian name that is sure to awaken your special places when referring to it. Previous spy images have indicated bigger air intakes, larger wheels and a meaner aero package to match a significant boost in horsepower.
Given the high position of this car, we expect that Ferrari will produce it in limited numbers and most likely sell models before the public even gets to know about the car!
