To celebrate its 70th anniversary, Ferrari will soon unveil 350 special edition supercars at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. Reports indicate that the Italian sports carmaker Ferrari made an announcement in this regard to 100 Ferrari owners and collectors who had competed in the Ferrari Cavalcade held in Venice, Italy last month.
Around 70 most iconic cars from the past will inspire the special edition of the five cars from the current range. The team at Maranello were asked to scan through 70-year history of the company and identify the most iconic cars from the past which featured distinctive interiors and exteriors. Though there is no official update on which iconic models will be used as inspiration, it is believed that Ferrari might opt for the 488GTB Coupé, California T convertible, the F12 Berlinetta Coupé, 488 Spider and the new GTC4Lusso.
Reports further go on to state that the recently introduced special-edition Ferrari F12tdf has been well received. It claims that the demand has already doubled even though some of the 799 units have been delivered to customers. More details about the 70th anniversary special edition cars will be known in the coming days.
