A day after history was made in India, courtesy a successful finish to the first ever Formula One GP in the country, Ferrari launched its boldest car yet, the FF, in India. We say bold, for Ferrari has never done a production AWD car before the FF.
It's also quite a departure in design. Unlike Ferraris most of us recognise, the FF is more estate like than a sportscar. In terms of body construction though, with its aluminium spaceframe, it remains exotic. Ditto for the engine and the gearbox. It uses a front mounted 6.3-litre V12 naturally aspirated engine with a staggering 650+bhp. The power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox. The car meanwhile is being imported by Shreyans Group into India and has been priced at an equally staggering Rs 3.42 crore, ex showroom in Delhi.
