Ferrari has unveiled its final teaser for the F150 before its official unveiling at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show which will begin on March 5. The teaser shows the Italian automakers prancing horse logo on a red background and joins a host of other images that have been surfacing over the last few months.
The Ferrari F150 is the spiritual successor to the Enzo hypercar and will Ferrari’s first since production of the former stopped close to eight years ago. It will cost a million Euros and will be powered by a powered by a 6.3-litre V12 engine which in combination with a HY-KERS (Hybrid-Kinetic Energy Recovery System) is expected to produce over 900bhp and close to the same amount in torque. The centrally mounted engine is also expected to get a dual-clutch gearbox and a low-mounted transmission to improve handling.
The interiors will be built around each owner and is expected to be an F1-style cockpit where the driver will sit low down and slightly reclined. Instead of having movable seats, the pedals are expected to move back and forth to compensate.
Production of this hypercar will be limited to 499 units (we suspect they have already been sold out completely) and it will compete with the 1.3 million dollar Mclaren P1 which will also be unveiled globally next week at the Geneva Motor Show by McLaren chairman Ron Dennis and their new driver for 2013 Sergio Perez. This hypercar however, will be limited to 375 units.
We will bring you all the details of the F150 from the Geneva Motor Show once they are revealed, so stay tuned to CarWale.
