Ferrari unveiled its 2009 Formula 1 car at Mugello today. The F60 uses the Kinetic Energy Recovery system in co-operation with Magneti Marelli. The 2009 car is known as the F60 and is the first Formula 1 car to be launched with Bridgestone slick tyres. Felipe Massa was the first driver to drive the car around the circuit. Until yesterday, the car was supposed to be launched at Fiorano, Ferrari’s other test track. The other launch coming up this week is Toyota’s TF109 on 15th January 2009.
