India becomes the 58th market in the world to have official Ferrari representation. The Italian marque commenced its operations here on November 30 with a showroom in Delhi in collaboration with Select Cars and followed it up with another facility in Mumbai yesterday, with Navnit Motors.
The new showroom in BKC, Mumbai will sell the entire Ferrari line up in India and also provide service support not just to the showroom customers, but also to the existing Ferrari owners in the country. The facility has space to display three cars, which at the time of the launch included two examples of the California T and F12 Berlinetta. The service facility for the same is situated in Andheri.
This is the second coming for Ferrari in India, the last attempt didn’t go too well and both the showrooms in the country shut shop a while ago. Ferrari is positive about the recent tie-up and hopes to have a substantial share in the super cars segment.
Apart from catering to the prospective customers, the Navnit Motors showroom in Mumbai also has a lounge to entertain Ferrari enthusiasts. The showroom also offers full customisation range to the buyers to select upholstery, accessories and paint schemes.
Present at the exclusive opening of the showroom, Enrico Galliera, Senior Vice-President Commercial & Marketing, Ferrari SpA, said: “We have many loyal owners and Ferrari fans in Mumbai and this new showroom will help them get even closer to the iconic brand. With great experience in the luxury car market, Navnit Motors is our preferred choice for this partnership in this region and we are confident that as our partners they will create more value for our ever increasing customer base.”
