- Available only for customers involved in the company’s motorsport programs
- Four paint colours to be available
Ferrari had recently come up with a hardcore variant of the 488 and called it the Pista. But apparently that wasn’t exclusive enough. So for the owners with deeper pockets and who love to take their prized possessions to the race track, Ferrari has announced the 488 Pista ‘Piloti Ferrari’.
As mentioned above, this new specification package is available only for ‘customers involved in the company’s motor sports programs’. Making its debut at this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans, Ferrari says the new design package serves to honour the success of Ferrari owners who have taken their vehicles onto the track.
The car will be available with a red, green and white stripe package based on the colours of Italy's flag, a championship laurel, and WEC iconography. Other exterior changes include a matte black S-duct, and visible carbon-fibre weave for the rear spoiler and vent surrounds. Four paint colours are available, Rosso Corsa (red), Blu Tour De France (blue), Nero Daytona (black) and Argento Nurburgring (silver).
The cabin has matte carbon-fibre pieces, faux suede trim, an identification plate, and Tailor Made badging. The colours of Italy's flag can be found along the centre section of the seats, as well as on the edges of the floor mats and shifter paddles.
Expect power figures to be similar to the Pista which means it might put out 711bhp of power and 770Nm of torque from the 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8.
