When you are the famous manufacturer Ferrari, everything you do has to be stylish, and that is how it was at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The Italian sports car maker unveiled the new limited edition 458 Speciale A of which only 499 will be built.
The 458 Speciale A is also the most powerful Ferrari spider (convertible) ever built if the performance figures are anything to go by. The car's acceleration run to 100kmph is a good 3.0 seconds (company claimed) and it hits a top speed of 320kmph (199mph). Even the retractable hard top is quick and takes just 14 seconds to retract and deploy.
It is powered by a 4.5-litre, naturally aspirated V8 thumping out 596bhp at 9000rpm and 540Nm of torque at 6000rpm. All this power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The 458 Speciale A was unveiled in a triple-layer Modena yellow livery with central Blu NART and Bianco Avus stripe.
With only 499 units to be made the 458 Speciale A is an exclusive buy and can be yours for 260,000 Euros (Rs 2.01 crore).
