Ferrari has managed to better the near-perfect 458 Italia to roll out the 458 Italia Speciale; the successor to the 360 Challenge Stradale and 430 Scuderia. The car will be the new hardcore V8 in the Italian stable and will be paraded at the upcoming 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The numbers this car flaunts are mindboggling to say the least. An average man needs three seconds to take a sigh of relief, and in that time the Speciale will clock 100 kph from stand still. The credit for this astonishing time is the retuned 4.5-liter V8 that now produces 604PS power a near 35PS step up from the standard variant. The Speciale has also gone on a massive weight loss resulting in the car being 200kg lighter and features Ferrari’s new Adaptive Aerodynamics.
The pricing is yet to be revealed though we feel it is emotionally impossible to put a price on something that will most definitely be a classic for our coming generations. For this very reason, this Italian stallion will be Ferrari’s cherished jewel alongside the 250 GTB, the F40 and the Ferrari Enzo.
