- First major update for the compact sedan
- New 7.0-inch display for updated touchscreen system
- Updated design for the tail lamps
- New blue shade
Tata has released teasers for an updated version of the Tigor compact sedan ahead of a possible launch later this month. This is expected to be a quick refresh for the compact sedan and is expected to be mostly in terms of cosmetic updates.
The teaser videos shows an LED tail lamp for the compact sedan which is a step up from the current model’s bulb and reflector unit. It also looks like crystal design elements have been added to the tail lamp. We also believe that this updated Tigor will see the introduction of a bigger display for the touchscreen system. This is will be a 7.0-inch unit and is also expected to get the latest in terms of Tata’s infotainment system OS. Finally, Tata has also added a new blue shade for the Tigor which this updated model will debut.
No mechanical changes are expected and this means the updated Tigor will continue with the 1.2-litre petrol and 1.0-litre diesel. Both get five-speed manual gearbox with the former also getting the option of a five-speed AMT.
