A facelifted Tata Indica Vista has been spotted testing by our friends at Powerdrift. This is the third time the car has been spotted (with camouflage) but is the first time the car has been captured up close. The hatchback has been a strong seller for the Indian automaker and it appears that the Indica Vista will also join their refreshed line-up soon.
The facelifted Indica appears to have the same overall design (stance included) as the current vehicle but gets a slightly different roofline and appears to have a new shape for the tailgate too. In terms of overall changes, we expect that Tata will add a significant amount of chrome to the vehicle much like how they have done with their other facelifted models. Not much can be said about the interiors but we believe that Tata will update much of the features inside as well as add a few that have now become industry standard in the segment like rear parking sensors and touch screen display.
The engine line- up and underpinnings are expected to remain the same as the current car. There is also hope that Tata will upgrade the Vista D90 in terms of appearance to match this vehicle once it is launched. Tata is likely to debut the new car at the 2014 Auto Expo slated to be held in February 2014.
