A facelifted version of the Mini Cooper hatchback has been spotted doing the rounds in Germany. This is a mid-life update for the hot hatchback and it is expected to debut by the end of the year in the European markets.
Our sources suggest that this update is not expected to include any major changes in terms of appearance, apart from some new head lights and tail lamps. However, the cabin is expected to get some technological updates and possibly an expanded feature list in line with BMW’s latest trim options.
This mid-life update is expected to run till 2019 when an all-new Mini is introduced. This car will sport a new design and possibly hybrid engine options across the range. As for this update for India, we can expect the car to come here in mid-2018 with certain variants being locally assembled.
