> The facelifted Jaguar XE should debut in the first half of 2019
> Refreshed exterior detailing, new interior bits/features and a mild hybrid setup
A camouflaged Jaguar XE was spotted by our spy photographers recently and this proves that the company is working on updating this Brit cat.
With the Jaguar XE’s German rivals (read C-Class/3 Series/A4) also getting mid-cycle makeovers, it was only a matter of time before the XE too underwent a revamp. From the pictures, it seems that the facelifted XE will get new internals for both the head and tail lamps. Besides that, the masked bumpers also look to be mildly reshaped.
Sources report that the facelifted XE may also receive the I-Pace’s acclaimed ‘Touch Pro Duo’ infotainment system, along with upgraded safety features and some semi-autonomous drive tech to keep up with the current fad. Additionally, the upcoming XE is also slated to receive mild hybrid tech to reduce emissions on its motors.
The facelifted Jaguar XE should hit roads worldwide after it debuts at some auto show in the first half of 2019. Stay tuned to CarWale for the details.
