A facelifted version of the Honda Mobilio has been launched in Indonesia at 180,500,000 Rupiah (Rs 8.80 lakh). The 2016 updates have been concentrated mostly on the cabin while the outside gets a few bits and bobs to give the car a quick refresh. Prices for the MPV start at 180,500,000 Rupiah (Rs 8.80 lakh) and go all the way to 234,500,000 rupiah (Rs 11.44 lakh) for the top-spec RS CVT variant.
The external changes include new alloy wheels and some chrome bezel for the fog lamp housing. The cabin, which was a sore point among the auto media due to its lack of features, has now been updated along the lines of the City and Jazz.
There is now a new touchscreen infotainment system, climate control and a revised dashboard with better design but with the outgoing model’s steering wheel.
It is being offered in the Indonesian market across seven variants S, E, E CVT, E Prestige, RS CVT and RS. The engine is the 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol unit producing 115bhp and 144Nm of torque. The manual is a five-speed unit while the AT is a CVT.
