The Trailblazer is Chevrolet's biggest offering in India. The introduction of the all-new 2016 Ford Endeavour and unbeatable sales of the Toyota Fortuner could be the reasons why Chevrolet is finding the need to facelift their Trailblazer.
In the front, Chevrolet's big SUV will get a new refreshed hood, front and rear bumpers. It will also have updated headlights clusters along with LED DRLs. The rear of the Chevy will feature new taillights. On the inside, the SUV will get reworked interiors with new features to stay in the fight with its comparatively new rival. The seat upholstery and dashboard trims will be among the changes on the inside. The new Trailblazer is also expected to get the updated MyLink touch screen Infotainment system similar to its siblings.
The Trailblazer comes with only one engine option, a 2776cc four-cylinder turbocharged diesel called the Duramax. It makes 197bhp at 3600rpm and has a huge torque figure of 500Nm of max torque which comes in at 2000rpm.
The SUV will compete against the Toyota Fortuner, Hyundai Santa Fe, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Ssangyong Rexton and the upcoming all-new Ford Endeavour and the Nissan X-Trail. The Trailblazer is temporarily banned for sale in Delhi since its engine is 2000cc plus.
