The facelifted version of the Chevrolet Sail sedan has been spied in China. The black camouflaged car was spotted in Shanghai with white stickers covering certain elements. The spied car features a new headlamp and tail lamp unit and also a few changes to the front bumpers.
The facelift is expected to be purely cosmetic and Chinese market will be the first one to get an update as the model was born there. The sedan will continue to be powered by either a 1.2-litre mill producing 86bhp and 113Nm of torque or the 1.3-litre mill producing 78bhp and 205Nm of torque.
We spotted the Sail sedan test mule in India with light camouflage a few days back, it didn’t have any visible updates and was probably testing components for facelift. The Sail sedan was launched in India recently and won’t see a facelift anytime, but the company might just update the features list to make a strong case for itself against the likes of Honda Amaze, Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Nissan Sunny.
