A heavily camouflaged Chevrolet S10 has been spotted testing in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Chevy’s S10 has been the segment leader for 20 years and this spotting confirms that the pickup is ready to receive the first update in this design generation.
Expect this vehicle to carry Chevrolet’s latest design language and a quick look at the front and rear ends depict that a significant amount of styling upgrades will be fused into the newer version. The front end suggests the probable use of daytime running lamps, a revamped grille, bumper, fender and fog lamps. Changes to the rear portion are minimalistic but a redesigned boot cover and tail lamps look inevitable.
Expect the current car's strengths to be carried over to the successor; like the superior comfort and sophisticated interiors. Though it is too early to comment on the powertrain options, we believe the current 2.5-litre Ecotec and 2.8-litre turbo diesel could continue to do duty in the upgraded versions in a different state of tune.
When launched, this restyled truck will lock horns with the latest generation Toyota Hilux pickup.
