A facelifted version of the BMW 3 Series in the hybrid setup has been spotted on test in snowy Europe. The car was unveiled as a prototype at a company event a few months ago and this one looks pretty much identical to the one shown at the event.
The external changes are expected to be limited to some nips and tucks while the interior will get updates in the form of a new iDrive system and trim options. Under the hood, the hybrid is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine and electric motor both sending power to the rear wheels.
This setup is expected to give an output of 245bhp and 400Nm of torque but more importantly this setup will produce a fuel efficiency of 50kmpl with a pure electric range of 35km.
