After being a witness to the facelifted base Audi TT and the hard-core ‘RS’ versions on earlier occasions, sources now report to have spotted the TTS version.
It can be seen in the pictures wearing large fog lamps and a camouflaged front and rear end that masks the minor facelift design cues. In fact, it is quite similar to what the TT and TT RS was wearing when they were spied. Sources expect the modest updates to help the facelifted Audi TT soldier-on till the arrival of the new TT. The all-new car is still some time away and will reportedly get a new platform.
Reports also suggest that Audi may mildly tweak the current engine line-up for the facelifted TT range, which includes the TT, TTS, and TT RS. These include a 2.0-litre engine tuned for both 220bhp and 292bhp, along with the top-of-the-line 2.5-litre motor that produces 400bhp. Audi may debut the facelifted TT in late 2018/early 2019 after probably showcasing the car at some Auto Show this year.
