- Prices to be announced on 7 August
- To get Daytona Grey exterior paint scheme
While the entire world saw the production-spec images of the upcoming Tata Curvv yesterday, we have managed to get our hands exclusively on the real-world pictures of the coupe SUV. The prices of the ICE Curvv are set to be announced soon after the launch of the EV iteration on 7 August.
As seen in the images, the Tata Curvv look even more striking in real life finished in a Daytona Grey paint scheme. It features a bold face with a connecting light bar tucked underneath the bonnet. Other design highlights include a Tata Safari-like grille, split LED headlamps, wide and aggressive-looking bumper which also houses the front parking sensors, and functional air curtains.
On the sides, the Curvv flaunts a coupe-like silhouette with squared-off wheel arches. Another design element which stands out is the flush-fitting pop-out door handles and flower petal-styled alloy wheels.
At the rear, the Curvv SUV continues to get the modern futuristic treatment with full-width LED taillamps, wide blacked-out bumper which also houses reflectors, a protruding spoiler with shark fin antenna, and Curvv badging finished in chrome.
As of now, we don’t have the images of the interior of the Curvv SUV. However, the automaker has revealed few features of the upcoming model such as a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree surround camera, two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, digital instrument cluster, and a touch-based HVAC panel. Now, most of these features are already available with models like the Safari, Harrier, and the Nexon.
Mechanically, the Tata Curvv ICE will be powered by a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. While the former will churn out 123bhp and 225Nm of torque, the latter will generate 113bhp and 260Nm of peak torque. As for the transmission options, we expect the model to get a six-speed manual and automatic gearbox for both powertrains.
