- Could be launched in H2 of 2025
- Will arrive with cosmetic updates and feature enhancements
Czech automobile brand Skoda has commenced testing the facelifted version of the Kushaq on global soil. As seen in the spy pictures, the model was spotted with heavy camouflage at the front and rear, hinting at where most of the changes would lie.
Starting with the fascia, the most significant update for the new Skoda Kushaq facelift would be the addition of an ADAS suite, and the sensor on the air dam is a clear giveaway of the same. Elsewhere, we can expect a new grille, tweaked projector headlamps, revised front and rear bumpers, and a reworked tailgate. Also up for offer could be a fresh set of alloy wheels.
Inside, the refreshed Skoda Kushaq is expected to receive new upholstery and ventilated seats among other updates. The model on sale is already equipped with features including an electric sunroof, fully digital colour instrument cluster, auto-dimming IRVM, two-spoke steering wheel, and a 10-inch touchscreen unit.
Powertrain options on the Kushaq facelift are likely to be carried over from the outgoing version. These include 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines paired with six-speed manual, six-speed torque converter automatic, and seven-speed DSG units. Notably, the six-speed manual gearbox was discontinued in the 1.5 TSI versions, and it remains to be seen whether it will make a comeback in the facelifted avatar. This updated iteration of the Hyundai Creta rival could make its debut in the second half of 2025.
