- To be offered in three variants
- ADAS confirmed
Honda Cars India has been shaping up the launch of the new third-gen Amaze with teasers for a couple of weeks. The debut of the compact sedan is scheduled to happen on 4 December, 2024. And now, ahead of this event, we have some exclusive details of the variants and features of the new Honda Amaze.
First up, as per our source, the new Amaze will be offered in three variants, namely, V, VX, and ZX. Mechanically, the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine along with a five-speed manual and a CVT gearbox will be bundled with the sedan. Additionally, while all the dimensions will remain identical, the width of the new Amaze is said to be increased by 33mm.
Coming to the features, the top-of-the-line version of the Amaze will get all LED lighting, rear AC vents, wireless charger, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, lane watch camera, rear parking camera, six airbags, and an ADAS suite. However, the new Amaze will miss out on a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, and a sunroof.
As for the prices, we speculate the new Amaze to have a closer starting price to the current version. However, the top variant equipped with ADAS may be priced higher than the fully loaded variant of the currently available Amaze.
