BYD India recently revealed the prices of its newest product, the eMax 7, an all-electric MPV. It is available at a starting ex-showroom cost of Rs. 26.9 lakh, across two variants, namely, Premium and Superior, with six and seven-seat layouts.
Now, as per the brand, the eMax 7 has received a great response from customers and with this, the electric MPV carries a waiting period of approximately two months. This waiting period is tentative and may vary depending on the version and stock availability.
Also, while in conversation with Rajeev Chauhan, Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles, BYD India, we learned that the eMax 7 has garnered close to 1,000 bookings so far. Moreover, the Superior variant in the seven-seat guise is more in demand with Crystal White and Harbour Grey exterior colours being preferred by customers. The brand is highly optimistic that the eMax 7 could potentially be their best-seller in India.
The BYD eMax 7 is available with two battery pack options – 55.4kWh and a 71.8kWh unit. As for the driving range, while the former is rated to deliver 420km, the latter is calibrated to power the vehicle for 530km on a single charge.
