Remember Zerouno, the ultra-limited V10 powered supercar from the Moncalieri-based design and engineering company Italdesign? All the five units of the Zerouno were sold off for 1.6 million USD apiece. Now to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Italian design house, the Zerouno convertible will make its debut at the Geneva next month.
The new Zerouno drop-top will also have an exclusive production run as the coupe. The teaser image showcases similar flamboyant design sans the roof. Powering it would be the same 5.2-litre Audi sourced V10 producing 610bhp and 560Nm. The Coupe can do a 0-100kmph sprint in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 330kmph. Expect a change in performance figures with the drop-top Zerouno.Â
Italdesign is a part of the Volkswagen Group since 2010. After establishing a new brand called Italdesign Automobili Speciali, the carmaker intends to make a new car every year in exclusive numbers. Being part of the VW group with so many supercars under the banner is a huge boon for Italdesign, however, the Turin design and manufacturing company claims to build each car ground up on their own.
