Now that the Challenger SRT Demon is out and breaking records, the regular Dodge Hellcat is starting to look a little bleak. Dodge, however, it seems is working to rejuvenate the less powerful and exclusive Hellcat with a wide body and some tweaks.
What we have here are spy pictures of a wide body Challenger at Dodge’s headquarters, but it doesn’t appear to be a Demon. It has a Hellcat hood and Hellcat badging on the back along with wheels and tires different from the Demon.
In all probability, this could be an actual wide body Hellcat made to please customers who want the Demon to be more of an appearance package than a full on drag racing package. Expect to see the wide body Hellcat debut later in the year.
