DC Design had earlier revealed their plans of unveiling two cars at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. Now, the Facebook page of the Mumbai-based design firm has previewed a teaser image of a compact car, which will be smaller than the Tata Nano.
The teaser has revealed just the front three-quarter section of the car and by the looks of it, the car design house has continued to employ its distinct and offbeat design. The headlights look sharp and coupled with the high, flared wheel arches will give the car a very aggressive look. The car is expected to stay sub-seven feet, end-to-end. Though both the cars would be showcased at the Auto Expo, it will take couple of years for them to get into production.
Back in 2012, DC design had showcased its Avanti sports car at the previous Auto Expo. The company’s first production car, it will be powered by the Ford 2.0-litre EcoBoost engine pumping out 240bhp. The first batch of 25 units of the sports car is to be sold for Rs 25 lakh each, while the next batch will be sold for around Rs 30 lakh a piece. DC will begin full-fledged production of the Avanti at its Talegaon facility in Pune from June this year which has a capacity of making 100 cars every month. DC Design currently has 14 showrooms across the country.
