Datsun redi-GO updated with standard safety features; prices increased

The Datsun redi-GO has been updated with standard safety features to comply with the new safety guidelines. The redi-GO now comes with driver airbag, high-speed warning, rear parking sensors and seat belt reminder as standard across the range. The redi-GO was recently updated with ABS and EBD.

The Datsun redi-GO is available with two petrol engines - 0.8L and 1.0L. The former makes 53bhp and 72Nm, while the latter produces 67bhp and 91Nm. Both the engines are mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The 1.0L unit additionally gets an AMT as well.

The redi-GO range now starts at Rs 2.80 lakhs for the base variant and goes all the way up to Rs 4.37 lakhs (all prices are ex-showroom Delhi) for the top-end AMT model. The car is available in five colour options – Lime Green, Ruby Red, Grey, White and Silver.
