In order to take advantage of the ongoing festive season, Datsun India has launched a Gold edition of the Redi-GO 1.0L in our market. It gets unique exterior paint shades and interior bits, while mechanicals remain the same. The new variant would further enhance the hatchback's appeal amongst buyers looking for a car that looks unique. But will it complement their aspirations and lifestyle? This picture gallery might help answer that question.
The new Gold edition is part of Datsun's endeavour to keep their products innovative. The car gets cosmetic enhancements that make it look fresh.
What separates the Redi-GO Gold from the standard model are new exterior paint shades with body graphics and body-coloured door handles. Body colours include silver, bronze grey and white.
As the name suggests, the Gold edition is adorned with decals in gold and black. You can see these on the sides, roof and even the tail gate. There's a contrasting volcano grey/black spoiler too.
The stylish sticker pasted on the bonnet also adds to the appeal. The asymmetric position isn't one of its kind, but still adds to the charm.
The car gets a black grille in a different shade from the standard variant. There is a gold accent too to make a style statement.
Similarly, there is a golden accent on the wheel caps of the car. Such small touches have enhanced the exterior look of the hatchback.
On the inside, it gets special black leatherette seat upholstery with gold highlights. This gold black treatment looks stylish as well as sophisticated too.
Datsun has also equipped the Redi-GO Gold with a new buetooth-enabled audio system. It is surrounded by golden highlights on the centre console.
It is also equipped with rear parking sensors to add to the convenience while parking. Notice the new chrome garnish on the tail gate as well.
This Redi-GO Gold edition will only be sold in the 1.0-litre variant. This comes powered by 999cc three-cylinder engine producing 67bhp and 91Nm of torque.
