Datsun launched their most awaited hatchback, the GO for the Indian market few hours ago at Rs 3.12 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The affordable hatchback, which will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 and the Hyundai Eon, has been the talk of the town since the last few months. It is being sold in four variants – D, D1, A and T. However, the company is also offering an additional variant called the Women Edition.
The Datsun GO Women Edition is targeted at young women customers , in keeping with their audience ‘the Risers’ and is loaded with features that fail to be seen in the four variants. It gets a reverse parking sensor along with a camera, parcel tray, rear and side curtain, cushion seat, mood light and body decals to make it look very trendy. The price of this variant is yet not known and the dealers haven’t started taking bookings for it.
Datsun is concentrating heavily on offering customisable cars to its consumers. As per their official website, it is offering many exterior, interior, comfort and electrical accessories for the Datsun GO and honestly, we think it’s a very good initiative as none of the auto manufacturers in India are doing this right now.
