It started with a few teasers hinting that Datsun’s coming up with a crossover variant of the Go. However, it soon came to light that it’s just another special edition of the Datsun Go and Go Plus. The carmaker then launched this Go Plus special edition in India at Rs 4,77,552 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The MPV will now be sold in the country from this month to October 2016. Check out its new features.
Christened as the Style Edition, this new variant is offered in a new blue shade. This new paint scheme is in addition to the existing white and ruby colours.
The most evident enhancement comes in the form of the side decals. The black and yellow stickering does add a little spunk to the car's external appearance.
This version is also equipped with roof rails to give the MPV a tall stance. Then the B- and C-pillars are given a black treatment.
The roof-mounted spoiler comes as a standard fitment on this variant and so does the chrome garnish on the tail gate. There is also a limited edition style logo as an exclusive badge.
The interior of the Go+ Style edition gets a dual-tone black-beige colour theme for the dashboard. The gear-lever surround is finished in silver to lend a premium look.
The equipment level of this limited edition model is based on the top-end T variant of the Go Plus. Furthermore, the seats are covered in dual tone leather finish covers.
The centre console gets a piano black finish to add to the stylish look. It is flanked by silver inserts, which can also be seen on the air vents.
This Go+ Style edition continues to be powered by the 1.2-litre engine producing 67bhp of power and 104Nm of torque. This motor is coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox.
