The Datsun GO+ MPV has been launched in the Indian market for Rs 3.79 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). The second car from budget oriented Japanese auto maker, it was first launched for the Indonesian market and the unveiled in India at the 2014 Auto Expo. It is available in four variants and a single engine option. We have already driven the car and you can find the link to our text review as well as the first drive video at the bottom of this story.
The GO+ is 3.99-metres in length and has a wheelbase of 2.45-metres. The car has a boot space of 48-litres which increases to 347 litres with the third row folded down. It gets the same external design as the hatchback and look like a stretched out version of the GO due to the large boot.
It is available in four variants D, D1, A and the top of the line T variant which has features like AC, power steering, front power windows, USB connection for mobile phone charging and an AUX-IN connection. Datsun is offering an optional driver’s side airbag in the T variant.
Under the hood is the same three-cylinder 1.2-litre petrol engine from the GO hatchback. It produces 67bhp and 104Nm of torque with power going to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox.
