- The models will soon be offered with a CVT variant
Nissan India has announced a price increase of up to five percent on the Datsun Go and Go Plus, effective 1 October, 2019. The prices for the Datsun Redi-Go will remain unchanged. The Go twins were recently updated with Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) in the T and T(O) trims.
Datsun India is expected to launch the automatic variants of the Go and Go Plus in the festive season. Both models will be offered with a CVT transmission. Bookings for the variants have already commenced against an amount of Rs 11,000 at all authorised dealerships. The Go CVT and Go Plus CVT variants will be offered in the T and T(O) trims upon launch.
Speaking on the occasion, Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said, ”With safety at heart, Datsun is committed to offering accessible and value-for-money products powered by Japanese engineering. Owing to an increase in multiple costs, we are making a planned price increase to our Datsun Go and Go Plus models.”
