Nissan India has announced its plans to hike the prices for the Datsun GO and the GO Plus models by four per cent from 1 April 2019. The company attributes the hike in prices to rise in input cost and other economic factors. Back in October, the company introduced the updated GO and GO Plus in the Indian market with a fresh set of cosmetic and upgraded features. The updated GO and GO Plus are available for a price of Rs 3.29 lakhs and 3.83 lakhs respectively.Â
The fresh updates in the newly launched Datsun GO and GO Plus come in form of a redesigned bumper which now also includes the vertical LED daytime running strips that are integrated into the blacked-out insert. Both the cars are offered with 14-inch diamond cut alloy wheels for the first time along with two new colour options - amber orange and sunstone brown.Â
As for the interior, the vehicle gets a restyled dashboard and seven-inch Blaupunkt touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This time around, the vehicle also gets a conventional handbrake lever between the seats. As for features, the new model gets power windows, electrically adjustable mirrors, rear parking sensors, dual front airbags, and rear window wipers.
