In commemoration of three years of both the Datsun Go and Go+ in India, the carmaker has recently launched special Anniversary Editions of the hatchback and the MPV. Both cars come with changes to the exterior and interior, but no mechanical changes. Let's have a closer look at the changes through this detailed picture gallery.
The special edition will be exclusively sold only in white or silver body colour. The blue and grey decals seen on the body make the cars a little more appealing to look at.
The same body graphics can be seen at the back as well. Both cars will also get a black spoiler to add to the sporty quotient.
As mentioned earlier, Datsun is celebrating three years of its existence in the Indian market. So, the company has equipped these cars with an 'Anniversary edition' badge on the tail gate.
Inside the cabin, the carmaker has imbued bright blue inlays. They might seem too bright for anyone's taste, however, they are meant to bring in a certain radiance.
The same blue theme is carried over on to the instrument cluster, center console and gear lever surrounds. In fact, the door mats also get blue accents to go with the overall theme.
The cabin features a first-in-segment ambient lighting app for mobile phones. A customer can choose the mood lighting of the car's cabin through this app.
The cars are equipped with a keyless entry system, rear parking sensor, Bluetooth connectivity and radio and USB connection in addition to the standard features on the existing T variant.
Both the special editions come powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol mill that churns out 67bhp and 104Nm torque. It is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
The special edition of the Datsun Go is priced at Rs 4.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the Go+ costs Rs 4.9 lakh.
