Datsun India celebrated its production milestone of 1,00,000 lakh cars in the country with the roll out of redi-GO 1.0-litre from its production line in Chennai. The company has witnessed a positive response from the customers for the Go, Go+ and the redi-GO over the last three of its India operations. Moreover, the company claims that Datsun accounts for more than half of the total sales of Nissan Motors in India.
Moving ahead the company expects to continue with it strong sales growth momentum in the country. The redi-GO 1.0-litre being its most recent product in the country, the model coincidentally also gets to do the honors during the company’s milestone achievement. The car is based on the Japanese philosophy called the YUKAN – which stands for brave and bold. The company also offers a comprehensive safety package for the redi-GO, called the – Datsun Pro-Safe7. Since the launch of the Datsun redi-GO in June 2016, Datsun India has offered three refreshed variants for its customers- the redi-GO SPORT in September 2016, the redi-GO 1.0L in July 2017 and the company further claims that it has received an overwhelming response for the recently launched redi-GO 1.0L GOLD in October 2017.
