It is said that colours play a major role in a person's mood associations and that determines the way one feels about a product. Mercedes-Benz seems to have taken a note of this and released the pictures of eight stunning colour options for the upcoming AMG-GT.
The Mercedes-Benz AMG-GT has not been launched yet and will soon be globally introduced. The manufacturer has not revealed the names of the colours but confirmed that the new two-door coupe will be offered in black, yellow, two shades of red, silver, grey, white and blue. The sports car is derived from the SLS AMG and borrows most of the styling cues from the larger siblings, the SLS, as well as the SLK55 AMG.
The AMG-GT gets a front mid-engine layout and will be available in two states of tune. The twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine will produce 510bhp of power at 6,250rpm and 650Nm of torque between 1,750 rpm and 4,750rpm in the GT-S version, while in the standard version it will churn out 455bhp of power. This motor is Euro 6-compliant and is the latest member of the BlueDIRECT engine family. This mill claims high levels of performance and efficiency.
The German automaker has been teasing fans and enthusiasts with photos and teaser videos of the AMG-GT through its official website and Facebook page. As Mercedes-Benz India has brought almost all of its performance cars in India, we think the company will also offer this car in India in a couple of months following its global launch. The car will come to India via the CBU route and is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 1.5 crore to Rs 1.8 crore.
Tell us how you feel about these colour options of the AMG-GT.
