Citroen to open first dealership in India in Delhi

At the unveiling of the Citroen C5 Aircross SUV for India, the French automaker announced that it would open its first dealership in India in Delhi. This will be followed by a dealership in Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad in what is expected to be the first phase of the Citroen’s plans for India.

Citroen has said that it will launch the C5 Aircross in India before the end of next year and this means the first dealership will open a few months prior to the official launch of the car. They have also said that post the C5 Aircross, they will launch one new product every year for the next three years. The automaker has also hinted at a heavy online effort for its buying experience and will reveal more details in the future.

To kick things off, Citroen will start off its dealer partner live tour from the first of July of this year. Post this tour, we expect that Citroen will be able to finalise its list of dealer partners when it begins operations.
