Citroen introduced the C3 hatchback in the country in July 2022, with prices starting at Rs. 5.71 lakh (ex-showroom). The model currently has an asking price of Rs. 6.16 lakh to Rs. 9.12 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the choice of variant.
Under the hood of the Citroen C3 is a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine in naturally aspirated and turbo-petrol guises. We recently tested the latter, which produces 109bhp and 190Nm of torque, and here is the car’s real-world mileage. Notably, the turbo-petrol version is claimed to return a mileage of 19kmpl.
In our city test, the Citroen C3 turbo-petrol MT returned a mileage of 11.7kmpl, with the MID indicating 11.9kmpl. Similarly, during the highway test, it returned a fuel efficiency of 17.58kmpl, while the MID claimed a mileage of 18kmpl. The said figures resulted in an average of 14.52kmpl. These numbers, paired with a fuel tank capacity of 30 litres, will result in a range of 435km on a single full tank.
